"Audubon Golf Course really is a pretty nice golf course. If you are looking for
an extremely easy course, this is the wrong course for you. The course
consists of 6,124 yards of fairway and rough. The bunkers are pretty well maintained and the greens
are always in perfect playing condition. This par 70 course
(71 if you are playing from the ladies tee),
gives you hours of unending challenges, from hard bunker shots, to 22 foot
putts, this course is good one to play. The people here are the nicest east
of the Mighty Mississippi."

"This
course has a good layout but is old and needs to be re-worked to a more
modern tract. The problem is the city has not put the money the course
generates back into maintenance of the course. They are trying with a near
by course to start a new revamp project, but if they don't maintain the
public courses we will have the same conditions. Some of the best public
course players in the city play at this course. Recommendation to only wager
a coke with a local on your first trip or it could get nasty. Your luck
would be better at the Casino. The staff is very friendly and goes out of
their way to make you feel welcome. The best time to play is mid to late
Summer when the grass is green and its HOT. You had better be hot with your
game as well. Go play the course and have fun. Pace is quick - under 4 hours
and very reasonable value."

"Maintenance,
Maintenance. Greens need work, fairways are nice this time of year. For the
price it is a great place to work on your game. Staff is always friendly and
willing to help."

"I
found this course while getting lost on my way to Woodruff golf
club. This is not an overly long course or narrow one. Club gets a
lot of play, greens were slower than i like but i met a few good
players here."
